Anticipate that efficient leaders will be elected from the 6th District Convention of HISSAN Kathmandu who are capable to bring overall changes in the national education policy which assists our future generation. Many like-minded educator fellows of the acclaimed schools and colleges have not been included in HISSAN yet. The HISSAN team should work on this and encourage them to acquire the membership.

I have been at the helm of the faculty of hospitality and tourism at Global College of Management for many years, and I am currently leading Explore Institute of Hotel Management under CTEVT.

As a member of HISSAN, I believe the upcoming leader should possess the capability to influence parliament to amend the new Education Act in favor of private organizations. The private sector faces numerous challenges, and we need a leader who can adeptly address these issues.

Traditionally, HISSAN has a history of making unanimous decisions, and I hope that this time as well, we can achieve a unanimous decision. In case unanimity is not achieved, diplomatic solutions can be pursued.

I am vying to be a member of the executive committee and am willing to take on any post assigned to me based on my capabilities by my seniors.

The primary responsibilities for the upcoming president of HISSAN Kathmandu include policy lobbying, membership expansion, and fundraising. HISSAN Kathmandu holds significance within HISSAN, given the higher concentration of colleges in Kathmandu. Both the central and Bagmati HISSAN recognize HISSAN Kathmandu as a crucial part of the organization.

The key tasks at hand include the amendment of the Education Act and, secondly, reducing the trend of student migration by enhancing private education.

My message to all delegates attending the convention is to exercise conscientious judgment in electing leaders. Guests at the convention also play an important role in selecting the new leader. Therefore, I urge everyone to choose the candidate they believe is deserving and provide proper guidance and direction to lead HISSAN Kathmandu.
