First of all, I would like to congratulate and express my best wishes to the new dynamic leaders of Kathmandu HISSAN. Here are my suggestions to this smart team for their success.

It is natural that there should be a good deal of competition among private colleges. The Kathmandu HISSAN should try to make the competition fair and democratic. There should be a common academic calendar for the colleges in Kathmandu which will determine the date of commencement and end of academic session, vacation, examination schedule, combined ECAs, etc.

HISSAN is an organization of professionals and scholars. So the next leader should be visionary, understanding the problems in education field and having strategy to solve those problems. Another thing is he should be a team player that is he should be able to unify all the members. He should have enough knowledge about academics.

All the members are educated and professionals. Thus, there might be unanimous decision considering the contributions and interest of the deserving candidate. Even if it won’t happen we can go through democratic ways that is election.

The main need of present time is to stop migration of students. Progressive, inclusive, integrated education system in Nepal can help to minimize this trend, thus, new president should work out on these things. There should be researches to find out the reasons of immigration and predict the possible solutions. There should be increase in healthy competition. All the institutes should go on merge, so that small challenges cannot shaken their foundations. To increase the quality of education, we need more efficient teachers and professors. Students should be encouraged to choose teaching as their profession. Lastly, there should be security of investment in private sector. And there should be certain reports and researches to provide guidance and directions to the people involved in this field.

We have some hints about the upcoming leader selection. So I would like to request that interested candidate should come with perfect vision, clear work plan and reasons why you are better. Then we are with you all the best.
