 Established in 1980 AD, the pioneering campus of Kabhrepalanchowk district, Kabhre Multiple Campus (KMC) is a not- for-profit making public campus affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU). The college has also been running +2 level courses formulating distinct management committee.
Situated at Banepa, in Kabhrepalanchowk, 20 km east from Kathmandu the campus has been striving for quality education to the students of Kabhrepalanchowk and its surrounding districts since its inception. Striving to replicate innovative teaching methods for cognitive development of the students with prior focus on life-skill oriented practical education, it has strong faith in producing energetic and competent human resource for the competitive

Course Description

The global arena has largely been extended on the part of information, communication and technology today. Specialization and specification in the respective discipline is the essence for the individual to meet the competent global market. In this turn, a step forward KMC has started BCA (Bachelor in Arts in Computer Application) to produce the Computer Application Experts and Developers. 

Bachelor of Arts in Computer Application (BCA) at the faculty of Humanities & Social Science of Tribhuvan University is to produce high quality computer application users and developers. The program of study for BCA is over a period of eight semester (four academic year). The academic year begins in the February of each year. Instruction and examination language shall be English in BCA. 


Eligibility:

Rectification in eligibility for the admission in Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is: PCL or + 2 or equivalent in any discipline passed with minimum 40% marks or 2.00 GPA or “C” grade in all the subjects of 11 and 12 in SEE.

Course Description

The objective of the BBS programme of Tribhuvan University is to develop students into competent managers for any sector of organized activity. The programme is based on the principle that graduates will spend a major portion of their life in a constantly changing environment. Therefore, the student should have an opportunity to obtain a broad knowledge of the concepts and reality-based skills underlying the operation and management of organizations.

Upon graduation, a student should be equipped to function as a manager in business, industry and government. The graduate should also have a variety of career opportunities in different sectors of business including entrepreneurship and create much needed jobs for others.


Eligibility:

The candidate applying for admission to the BBS programme of Tribhuvan University:

  1. must have successfully completed the PCL or 10+2 in business/commerce or an equivalent course from a Higher Secondary School Board, or from Tribhuvan University, or from any other University/Board recognized by TU.
  2. must have studied English as a full paper at the PC level or 10+2 programme.
  3. must have secured the minimum marks at the PC level or 10+2 programme as prescribed by the Faculty Board or the campus concerned.
  4. must satisfy any other entry requirements or criteria including the entrance test as prescribed by the Faculty Board or the campus.

Course Description

Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a course designed by Tribhuvan University to enhance students’ conceptual and theoretical understanding and methodological sills of respective subjects. On completion of this course, students possess theoretical knowledge and practical skills of recognized standard with which they can pursue their career in multitude of profession such as teaching, journalism, consultancy, social work activism, NGO, INGO and Government Organization services. Moreover, the completion of the course forms the foundation which enables them to pursue higher study, namely, Masters Degree in any university of the world.


 

Eligibility:

Must have completed the intermediate, Proficiency Certificate or 10+2 level, in Humanities or Science or Management Stream from Tribhuvan University or from any other University or Board recognized by Tribhuvan University.

Students desirous of studying Major English/Economics in the BA Program may do so, but are required to pass the Major English Subject within three years at +2 or PCL recognized by TU if they have not already studied this course at +2 or PCL Level

Students who have studied any other subject at +2 or PCL level can apply for admission to Major subjects like Rural Development, Social Work and Sociology in the BA Program.

Students desirous of studying Journalism and Mass Communication as a Major subject in BA program must have studied Journalism/Mass Communication at +2 or PCL can apply for Journalism subject.
