The whole world today has been dubbed as “province of Knowledge”. Knowledge today does not only reside in books., CD-ROMS or even on the internet, but it is found in heads and hearts of people.

In order to fulfill the demand of advanced college level courses and to meet the expectation of the society, the Board Mgmt. committee upgraded the DHSS with the extension of B.B.A program under Dharan College of Management (DCM) under Purbanchal University in the year 2058 B.S. and thereafter Birendra Memorial College (BMC) under Tribhuvan University in 2060 B.S.

The role of Education and the institution has to drastically change from that of a “doer” of running the institutes to “beings” a facilitator of diversity and innovation. “Let a hundred flower bloom: let a hundred schools of thought contend”-offers the best hope for our country to prepare its people for the knowledge managements. Our institution of future assures much more than forsights.

Our vision is to see beyond the narrow walls of the classrooms and textbooks and empower every students to master the challenges of the today and shape the worlds of tomorrow. We believe that both teachers and parents play an important role in the growth and development of the students and it is only through open communication, fruitful discussion that we can together lay a strong foundation for our students.

I take pride in the stating that DHSS, Dharan has been successful in providing true to the words of William A.
