Bishnumati Higher Secondary College was established in 2059 B.S by a group of experienced and passionate teachers, as a successful outcome of Bishnumati Higher Secondary School which was founded in 2048 B.S. At the present time, the BST College offers plus two courses and Bachelor level program under the supervision of National Examination Board and Tribhuvan University respectively. It aims to satisfy the academic thrust of the students seeking for quality education that comprises right values, diverse skills, adaptability and understanding of miscellaneous cultures. The principles of tolerance and co-existence along with in depth knowledge of career-oriented courses required to cope up with the challenges of professional advancement in a plural society.

Admission is given on the basis of an Entrance Examination which is mandatory, comprehensive, and has to be cleared or on the basis of SEE grades. A personal interview closely conducted by the College Management is compulsory for all students accompanied by their parents.
